As women, I know the last thing we want during our period is to be active. The fatigue, the dull aches and pains, and the bloating can really be a bugger. But as much as we want to stay curled in a tight ball, we should actually move. Aerobic exercise (ex. walking, running, swimming) and yoga have been proven to decrease the severity of menstrual cramps.
For this reason, my friend Kendra over at Live Fertile and I decided to create a yoga video to help both us and you to use when life is cramping our style.
In this 30-minute video, we’ll gently move to help open up your full body, specifically, your hips, side body, and back. Hopefully by the end of it, you’ll feel a little better and be glad you decided to uncurl from your ball.
